Action Price

By on September 15, 2019

An action price is a term used to describe a property price that deviates above or below the seller’s asking price which would start a serious negotiation for a sale to happen.

In the real estate industry, this action is usually used towards the position of a seller as the asking is price is set by them.

This is because reducing the asking price considerably would almost certainly trigger a positive response from buyers.

However, this can also work the other way around.

The action price can also be referred to from the buyer’s point of view..

By raising an offer price, it can be a catalyst for a seller to get more serious in selling.

Hopeful sellers often overvalue their properties so much that they don’t even attract any interest. But as soon as they lower their expectations and list an action price, things can start to happen quickly.
